Newborn Sessions are photographed between approximately 1-3 weeks old for best results! At this time, they are still super sleepy and more easily pose-able for all those fun posed shots!

The Wrapped Mini Session is a shorter, budget-friendly alternative to my full newborn sessions. These sessions last about 1 hour, compared to 2+ hours for a full Classic Newborn Session. Wrapped Mini Sessions include images of your baby fully swaddled in one of my soft, beautiful newborn wraps. This session type focuses on swaddled poses only and does not include parent posing, unclothed (“nakey”) images, or outfits. Please see the attached example for what a wrapped pose looks like. Because these sessions are fully swaddled, they tend to move more quickly and smoothly. Newborns are often most comfortable and sleepy when wrapped—especially in their first few weeks—allowing for a calm, efficient session. The Classic Newborn Package is priced higher than the Wrapped Mini Session because it offers a wider variety of poses, including outfit images and more structured posing. Due dates are often inaccurate! Some are born on their due date, many weeks before, and some even after! What I do is I mark down your due date after I receive a signed contract and 50% deposit from you! I only book a specific number of Due Dates per month so that I can ensure I have availability before and after your due date! Newborns are photographed within the first 1-3 weeks after birth for best results!!

For Newborn Sessions, I supply all props, outfits, headbands and hats! No need to bring ANYTHING! If you have something super meaningful you would like to incorporate, please let me know in advance so that I could plan ahead! ( I do not suggest bringing crochet newborn clothes or outfits from Amazon as they often are too big and do not photograph well! Just being honest!! ) For Cake Smash Sessions, I supply all background props! The cake and outfits are not included.

I have photographed too many different themes to name! I can of course offer some suggestions, but I am also totally open to new themes as well! Some people base their choice of theme of of their little one's Nursery decor, while others may choose a specific colored theme (blues, gold, pink etc). The possibilities are endless!

Yes, I can take a few images of your family before we begin the Cake Smash Session! For Newborn Sessions, Family posing is included with only the "Classic Newborn" Package

Good news! I now have a styling guide for Family Photos! But in summary, it is best to stick to Neutrals for family photos! And try not to have too many patterns! I LOVE the look of flowy long dresses for Mommies and daughters! Another fan favorite; suspenders for little boys! Some favorite colors for family sessions are : beige, brown, rust, mustard yellow, off-white, grays and a nice deep green!

Of course!! As much as I would love to share your images, I 100% respect your decision on whether or not you would like to keep them totally private! I will create a separate contract in this case!

My editing technique is very natural. I mainly only try to edit the colors, exposure, background distractions and shadows/highlights of an image to match the style of my portfolio. I do NOT photoshop bodies. However, I will fix blemishes, bruises and stray hairs when necessary! *Please remember to always take out phones/keys from pockets, and take hair-ties and smart watches off of wrists!! Photoshopping is extremly tedious. In order to get your images back in a timely manor, try not to have in your mind "Oh she can just photohop that out!!". Let's save eachother some time and sanity !! 😉
